Canucks F Samuelsson out 2-to-3 weeks

03/17/2010 - Vancouver, BC (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Vancouver Canucks forward Mikael Samuelsson is expected to miss the next 2-to-3 weeks with what the team is terming an upper-body injury.

The Vancouver Sun is reporting the injury is shoulder-related and happened during the team's loss to the Islanders on Tuesday.

Samuelsson has a career-high 30 goals and 23 assists this season in 70 games.

To replace Samuelsson while he's out, the team recalled forward Michael Grabner from Manitoba of the AHL. Grabner has five points in nine games this season.

Although the Golden Bears are listed as 7.5-point favorites, the Sun Devils are 3-0, lead the nation in sacks with 18 and possess the Pac-10's leading passer in sophomore quarterback Rudy Carpenter.
